How much will it
cost?
Every Urban Challenger costs BCM around
£3,500. However,
we ask Urban Challengers
to contribute a minimum of £1,500 towards the cost of the course
BCM
provides the accommodation, a weekly food allowance, a monthly bus pass,
training and exposure to a City Mission on the cutting edge of urban ministry.
Students have to provide their own pocket money and finance for any other
personal needs.
Married
students living in their own accommodation will only be asked to contribute
£500. Student contributions may be paid term by term. We see this as good
missionary training as we seek God to meet our needs.
Ways to raise money include:
◊
working and saving before starting the course
◊
support from family and friends
◊
approaching your local church leadership
team
◊
applying to local grant-making trusts.
We would
like one of our senior staff to visit your home church before you start or
during the first term in order to stimulate prayer support for you. We would
expect you to pass on regular news of BCM to your church and friends so that
they can remember you in prayer.
