The first three weeks will be devoted to
orientation - tour of the city, visiting various BCM departments and looking at some basic Biblical principles.
In the first three months Urban Challengers will be exposed to all the
evangelistic work of the Mission and to much of its social work and seasonal
projects.
After Christmas there will be opportunity for more specialisation and
individually tailored programmes.
Here's a breakdown of what you will be doing:
City Centre Outreach

experienced staff and we will learn from you as well.
District Outreach

Christian Social Work

Services and meetings:
Urban Challengers are often invited to take
part in different kinds of meetings, either individually or in small teams. To
begin with, these opportunities will be tailored to your experience and will
build up through the year. Sometimes you will be able to accompany staff on
their bookings and observe their approach.
